I have an email from aladdin connect giving me the exact steps I've been trying. Contacting aladdin connect, an employee says that it's Google that forces the pin (then why am I telling aladdin to disable it?). She also said she gets this call a lot and has never been able to find a solution.
I have found that currently you have to use the command "Hey Google - Ask Aladdin Connect to..." if you want to not have to use the pin. I've had this for a year and a half now and it's been flawless. All of a sudden about a 2 weeks ago it started asking for my pin.
